Medicine & Slam Balls
Balls for throwing: wall balls with a uniform 33 cm diameter for wall throws and ball squats, slam balls with a dead bounce for throwing at the ground. Weights from 2 to 30 kg, individually or in sets.
Wall ball and slam ball are not the same
A wall ball is a soft ball with a 33 cm diameter in every weight from 2 to 12 kg. It is thrown at a target on the wall, keeps its shape, absorbs the impact when caught and does not slip. The uniform diameter means the throwing technique does not change with weight. A slam ball has a tough shell and a dead bounce: thrown at the ground it does not rebound and stays put. Weights from 2 to 30 kg for explosive throws, Russian twists and carries.
Sets for classes and gyms
The wall ball set from a trio of 2 to 6 kg to a six-pack of 2 to 12 kg covers women and men in one group. The slam ball set from a light five of 2 to 10 kg to a heavy trio of 15 to 30 kg. Sets work out cheaper than single balls and match visually.
How to choose the weight
The standard wall ball is 6 kg for women and 9 kg for men, beginners one step lighter. Choose a slam ball you can throw 15 to 20 times in a row with full power, usually 8 to 15 kg. 24-month warranty.
